His career reflects a commitment to justice and a breadth of expertise in criminal law, including complex and sensitive cases.

  • San Bernardino County DDA (2013–2020): Colin honed his prosecutorial skills handling misdemeanors, felonies, arraignments, and preliminary hearings. He also served in specialized units such as the Mentally Disordered Offender/Sexually Violent Predator Unit and successfully prosecuted cases ranging from DUIs to homicides.
  • Nevada County DDA (2021–2022): While on the misdemeanor team, Colin independently managed a felony caseload and processed public records requests, demonstrating his ability to balance a wide array of responsibilities.
  • El Dorado County DDA (2022–2023): As a member of the Special Victims Unit, Colin focused on high-stakes cases involving felony domestic violence and sexual offenses, providing compassionate advocacy for victims.
